Well, what can I say? Alors voilà...

There was a time (when my hair was still dark and I was fresh and in good shape) when I thought I could make a career as a pop singer, initially believing that it had something to do with being a musician (a job I was incidentally doing). Rushing body and soul towards this goal, I more or less quickly realized that this was of course not the case and that I was not suited for the task of being a public entertainer...

In the meantime, I had written numerous songs, in French, each intended to be more catchy than the other but... when I made the (recent) effort to get them out of the basket where I had stashed them (a few audio cassettes in my garage), I was pleasantly surprised by some of my lyrics which, in one way or another, several decades later, still resemble me and by the harmonic progressions and melodies I was using at that time (even if the arrangement itself is of course seriously outdated!).

So I eventually decided to digitize these tapes, to "master" the result as best I could in an attempt to recover from the damage caused by time, and I made a small collection of them that the French Audiovisual Institute (INA) would certainly not disdain to put in its files!
