There was a time when, following my intense research on the history of the blues and reading hundreds of song lyrics related to this genre, I realized that, far from being as sad as the legend claimed, number of these lyrics were finally rather positive, warm and even joyful (and not lacking some humour).

This noticed, I started to list some of these songs, I kept the lyrics and combined them with "Rhythm & Blues" arrangements that were more playful and "bouncy" than of their original version. All these songs have, musically, nothing left of their original version but the lyrics have remained unchanged (Blues lyrics can be sung on any style of this genre anyway).

Incidentally, I included in this collection, some personal compositions that I found to work well with the rest and the whole resulted in a small album, a little out of step with what I used to do at that time.
